Former Punjab minister Jahangir Khanzada has said that overcoming fear is essential for achieving success

ATTOCK, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 9th May, 2026) Former Punjab minister Jahangir Khanzada has said that overcoming fear is essential for achieving success, adding that no force can stop a person from progressing if their intentions are sincere and their determination remains strong.

He expressed these views while addressing a special ceremony titled “Marka-e-Haq,” organised by the Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry at Government Postgraduate College for Women in Attock.

Recalling a tragic chapter of his life, Mr Khanzada said that in 2015, a suicide attack on his dera claimed the life of his father, Shuja Khanzada, along with several other family members. He said the incident had created an atmosphere of fear and uncertainty, but his mother encouraged him with courage and resilience during the difficult period.

He said his mother told him that after sacrificing her husband for the country, she would not allow her son to step back out of fear. Mr Khanzada added that those words removed the fear of death from his heart and motivated him to continue serving the public despite the risks.

Highlighting the significance of “Marka-e-Haq,” he said the event carried a message for the world that any threat against Pakistan’s sovereignty would be dealt with firmly.

He said enemies had repeatedly underestimated Pakistan, but the country’s armed forces had shattered their arrogance through courage and professionalism.

Mr Khanzada said the conflict demonstrated that faith, unity and patriotism could overcome even the most advanced weaponry, adding that Pakistan was emerging as a dignified and strong nation on the global stage.

Addressing female students, he described women as one of the strongest pillars of society and urged them to remove the word “impossible” from their thinking. He encouraged them to pursue their ambitions without fear of obstacles or social pressure.

He further said that just as individuals must conquer fear to progress, nations also need courage to ensure survival and stability. He praised Pakistan’s armed forces for defending the country with bravery and said the world now recognised Pakistan as a courageous nation playing a key role in global peace.

Mr Khanzada advised students to adopt discipline and passion as guiding principles in life, expressing hope that Pakistan would soon emerge as a major economic power.
