
Four Afghans Among 38 Suspects Arrested During SSO

KOHAT, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 15th August, 2016) : District police Monday arrested 38 suspects including four illegal Afghans and recovered illegal weapons during Search and Strike Operations (SSO) conducted under National Action Plan in various areas of the district.
According to district police, the search operations were conducted after alters issued by the security agencies, adding the operations were conducted in Gari Rauf Khan, Sor Gul and Shah Pur areas in wee hours and continued for four hours. During the operations, police and officials of security agencies conducted raids on targeted locations and houses arresting four illegal Afghans and 34 other suspects, while two AK-47, two rifles, three guns, five pistols and hundreds of bullets of different bores were also recovered. The police registered FIRs against the arrested persons and started investigation.
