Gilani, Mirwaiz, Yasin Hail Resolve Of IOK People

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 23rd july,2016) : Chairman of All Parties Hurriyet Conference, Syed Ali Gilani, and Hurriyet leaders, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Muhammad Yasin Malik, have appreciated the freedom- loving people of the territory. The Hurriyet leaders in a joint statement issued in Srinagar strongly condemned the stepped up Indian aggression and state terrorism in the occupied territory.
They appealed to the people to continue with peaceful protests in their respective areas and make their aspirations known. They also asked them to follow the protest programme which has already been announced by the resistance leadership,Kashmir Media Service reported. The joint statement maintained that the people should observe complete shutdown on Sunday and blackout in the evening.
Similarly, it said, complete shutdown will be observed on Monday and a congregation will be held in Islamabad district to pay tributes to the people who have been martyred in the recent spate of killing by Indian forces and also to express solidarity with the people of South Kashmir. Meanwhile, the Supreme Commander of Hizbul Mujahideen, Syed Salahuddin, in a statement issued in Srinagar appealed to the people of occupied Kashmir to follow the joint protest programme announced by the Hurriyet leadership. He strongly condemned the killing of innocent civilians by Indian forces' personnel in occupied Kashmir and paid tributes to the people of the territory for showing strong resolve, courage and commitment during this time of trial.
