Grant Of M.Phil Allowance Increased

KARACHI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22th August, 2016) : The Sindh Finance Department has allowed increase in M.Phil Allowance at 25 per cent of the existing amount of Ph.D Allowance - Rs 2500/- per month. The allowance will be implemented with effect from July 1, 2016, for the employees of the Government of Sindh who acquire / possess the degree of M.
Phil, recognized by the Higher education Commission, Islamabad. The Finance Department added that M.
Phil Allowance will not be admissible to those who are getting Ph.D Allowance at Rs 10,000/- per month and M. Phil Allowance will not be admissible to those who have already got the benefit of advance increments possession/ on acquiring M. Phil degree prior to December 1, 2001, said a statement on Monday.
