High Alert Declared In Govt Hospitals After Blast: Health Minister

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 8th Augst,2016) : Balochistan Minister for Health Rahmat Saleh Baloch Monday declared high alert in government hospitals after the blast in Quetta and directed all Medical Superintendents of public sector hospitals to cancel leaves of doctors and other medical staff. Talking to Private news channel, he also directed them to ensure their presence round the clock as well as stock of good number of medicines in their respective hospitals.
For the purpose we have to maintain a good stock of medicines, the Health Minister said, adding that there was no shortage of blood in the blood banks of hospitals.
He asked the doctors to provide best medical treatment to the injured. He expressed sorrow over loss of precious lives and said perpetrator of this heinous crime would soon meet their logical end. He appealed to citizens to remain united and supporting while carrying out relief activities.
