ICT Admin To Take Action Against Forced Child Labor

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News -26th Augst,2016) : Deputy Commissioner Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) has constituted a committee to take actions against forced child labor at brick kilns.
The committee would be headed by AC (Sadar) and would device a mechanism for taking action against those brick kiln owners who found involved in forced child labor, said a press release issued here by District Administration.
The District Administration would provide stipends and free education to the minors of labor family.
The Director Labour ICT also briefed the participants about the measures taken to eliminate forced child labor under the labour laws and started a survey of brick kilns and other business establishments to enforce the labor laws in letter and spirit.
