
ICT Police Nab Three Members Of Notorious Dacoit Gang

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 15th Jul, 2025) Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police on Tuesday arrested three members of an organized gang involved in multiple street crimes, including armed robberies and snatching incidents in the jurisdiction of Kohsar police station.
An official told APP that the Kohsar police team carried out a major operation and apprehended three suspects wanted in several cases of armed street crimes. The arrested individuals were identified as Ahmad Sabir, Imranullah, and Naqeebullah.
He said that the accused were involved in looting citizens at gunpoint, snatching mobile phones, cash, laptops, and other valuables.
Cases were already registered against them at Kohsar police station.
He said that the police team recovered snatched laptops, mobile phones, cash, the vehicle used in criminal activities, and weapons along with ammunition from the possession of the accused.
He said that all legal requirements will be fulfilled to ensure exemplary punishment for the culprits.
He added that Islamabad Police, under the leadership of DIG Muhammad Jawad Tariq, is conducting large-scale operations against organized and active criminal gangs across the city./APP-rzr-mkz
