
IEP To Promote Study On Broadcasting Techniques

ISLAMABAD,(UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 10th Augst,2016) : Institution of Engineers Pakistan, Rawalpindi-Islamabad Center (IEP-RIC) will hold a workshop here Saturday to promote broadcasting techniques. The workshop is aimed at helping the engineering community to adopt innovative approach in projecting healthy practices in field of science, technology and construction.
Renowned broadcaster Sarfraz Alam will be the key-not speaker. This is part of continuing professional development course (CPD) that was being regularly arranged for the young engineers. Meanwhile, the Local Council IEP-RIC at its meeting discussed and adopted number of proposals to project their activities, particularly those relating to professional development and expanding the scope of their working.
The meeting presided over by its chairman Engr. Hafiz M. Ehsan Ul Haq Qazi decided to expedite their membership drive and strengthen infrastructure network. Prominent engineers including Dr.
Attaullah Shah, Ch. Sikandar Hayat, Azadar Hussain Mazhar, Muhammad Ijaz Ashraf, Tahir Hussain, Abdurrab, Capt. (R) Najamuddin, Farida Javed, Col (R) Abdur Rashid Bangash, Ahmad Shamim, Maj (R) Jamil Hassan Bukhari, Abdul Rashid, Muhammad Yousaf, Qudrat Ullah, Engr.
Osaf Mahmood Malik, Syed Ibrahim Shah and Engr. Shafiq-ur-Rehman (Secretary) attended the meeting that also approved their Accounts for the period March - June 2016. They also Approval of IEP-RIC Budget 2016-2017. The committee also discussed proposals regarding feasibility report for construction new building of IEP-RIC.
It also finalized CPD's Calendar for the current year. It was agreed that a delegation consisting of five senior members will visit Universities, Government as well as Private Organizations and Institutions to represent IEP-RIC and its objective. It was hoped that this effort will help to achieve huge incentives in aggrandizing the membership of the Centre.
