IGP Awards Karak Police For Arresting Notorious Proclaimed Offender

PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 17th Augst,2016) : Inspector General of Police Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Nasir Khan Durrani awarded Karak police officials on arresting a notorious proclaimed offender wanted in several heinous offences in a ceremony held at CPO on Wednesday. According to a statement, Karak police on authentic information about the presence of dreaded proclaimed offender conducted an operation in the area of Chambi the other day. The DPO also rushed to the spot and commanded the whole operation.
The police party cordoned off the area and arrested the proclaimed offender Zar Bakht Ali S/O Mir Dad r/o Banda Dawood Shah wanted to police in 18 heinous cases including murder, attempted murder, kidnapping, target killing and extortion and recovered two hand grenades, one Kalashnikov along-with two chargers and 65 rounds. It may be recalled that the said proclaimed offender had also fled from the police lockup alongwith the hand cup chain.
After that he further intensified his criminal activities particularly of extortion and had made the life of the local people miserable through his crimes.
The general public highly appreciated the bold and courageous performance of the local police by garlanded them in the bazaar. The IGP Nasir Khan Durrani while addressing on the occasion held in high esteem the excellent performance of the police by saying that they put their precious lives in danger and showed extra ordinary courage while arresting the said proclaimed offender. It may be recalled that Karak police in the last five months have arrested 720 proclaimed offenders wanted in heinous crimes and this outstanding performance of the Karak police is far better from other district of the province. The IGP termed the performance of Karak police as a role model for the whole police force and directed the awardees to further make up their performance through sheer hard work and professional commitment.
The IGP awarded DPO Karak Mian Naseeb Jan, SHO police station Karak Sub Inspector Shah Dawran, head constable Nasir Iqbal, LHC Noor-Ul-Amin and constables Zahied Majeed and Muhammad Mushtaq with cash prizes and commendation certificates.
