ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th july,2016) : Former Foreign Secretary Najam-ud- Din Sheikh urged on Wednesday that India was violating basic human rights by depriving Kashmiris of their right of self-determination.
While talking to a private news channel he said there are possibilities that global community may take action in the favour of Kashmiri people.
Former Secretary further said Pakistan wants to resolve the issue on a negotiation table, while India is avoiding it over one pretext or the other.
The way Indian actions in Kashmir must be condemned; global community is not doing that much with conviction, he added. Indian government should realize and give Kashmiris their freedom," he concluded.
