Indian Agencies Upset By Ongoing Uprising: Hurriyet Leaders

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News -29th Augst,2016) : The All Parties Hurriyet Conference, other pro-freedom organizations and Hurriyet leaders have said that the Indian agencies, upset by the ongoing uprising, are framing cases against the pro-freedom leadership to muzzle the truthful and just voice of the people for the Kashmir cause. Accotding to KMS, the APHC in a statement said, "Peer Saifullah, personal secretary of Hurriyat Chairman Syed Ali Gilani, who is suffering from brain tumour, was rearrested while returning from Delhi after medical check-up and was subjected to the worst kind of psychological torture." He said that APHC spokesman Ayaz Akbar's son Sarwar Yaqoob was still languishing in police station Parimpora for the last one and half month.
The spokesman strongly condemned the arrest of Tehreek-e-Hurriyat General Secretary, Mohammad Ashraf Sehraie. The Democratic Freedom Party (DFP) General Secretary, Abdullah Tari, in his statement expressed concern over the continued imprisonment of DFP's incarcerated Chairman Shabbir Ahmad Shah who is languishing in Rajbagh police station for last 51 days.
Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) condemned the restrictions placed by the Srinagar Central Jail authorities on Muhammad Yasin Malik's meeting with his relatives. The Awami Action Committee in its statement condemned the arrest of its Chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq.
APHC leader and Jammu Kashmir National Front Chairman, Nayeem Ahmad Khan in his statement warned the administration to act within limits otherwise people would not forgive them and they would revolt in full gear.
He strongly condemned the slapping of draconian Public Safety Act on Altaf Ahmad and many other political activists and common people, saying that such tactics would only aggravate the situation.
Altaf Ahmad has been lodged in Kuthua jail. Other Hurriyet leaders including Muhammad Yousuf Naqash, Bashir Ahmad Dar, Muhammad Ahsan Untoo, Muhammad Iqbal Mir, Syed Saleem Gilani, JKLF-R and Peoples Political Front in their separate statements also denounced the arrest and harassment of Hurriyet leaders and activists in the territory.
