
Islamabad Police Launch System To Maintain Record Of Criminals

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 29th july,2016) : The process of maintaining criminals' data in the Islamabad Capital Territory Police Communication System (ICTPOLCOM) has been started and system is linked with NADRA to update record of any person in case of his/her involvement in any criminal activity. It would store complete data of daily registered crime cases, record of criminals from the day of their arrest and release, their addresses, CNICs numbers and telephone numbers. Police source said that complete data of police stations with effect from January 1, 2016 has been inserted in this system while further record is being updated.
He said that it would also help to review the daily performance of police officials. All Police officials have been directed to get acquainted with this system. After the launch of this system, computerized copy of FIR would be issued to the complainant which would pave way for effective policing, the source maintained.
