
JI IOK Urges World To Listen To Pain Of Kashmiris

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 11th Augst,2016) : The Jamaat-e-Islami has said that India is utilizing all its military might,in Indian held Kashmir, to suppress the just voice of Kashmiris. The Jamaat-e-Islami in a statement issued in Srinagar said Indian establishment has been employing various tactics and gimmicks since 1947 to make people of Kashmir forget their inalienable right of self-determination promised to them through UN resolutions for passing of which India played a leading role,reported Kashmir Media Service. "But with the passage of only a few years, India distracted from its promises though the resolutions are still alive in the relevant records and India has to abide by its pledge today or tomorrow," it added.
The Jamaat deplored that Indian government was bent upon perpetuating its occupation into a permanent form quite against all moral and diplomatic etiquettes by dint of force. "Nowhere pellet guns are used for suppressing the public agitation but against the peaceful agitation of Kashmiri Muslims, these fatal weapons are freely used in a very inhuman way with the result that more than sixty youth got killed and thousands injured out of whom the eyesight of about two hundred has been very badly affected and hundreds others have become partially or totally disabled," it added.
