
LIEDA Board Approves Annual Budget For FY 2025–2026

QUETTA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 26th Jul, 2025) The Board of Directors of the Lasbela Industrial Estates Development Authority (LIEDA) convened under the chairmanship of Muhammad Khalid Sarparah, Secretary for Industries and Commerce and Chairman of the Board, to review and approve the proposed budget for the fiscal year 2025–2026.
The meeting was attended by board members and senior officials, said a news release received here on Saturday.The Primary agenda of the session was the presentation, deliberation, and approval of the upcoming fiscal year's budget.
In his opening remarks, Chairman Sarparah emphasized the importance of a realistic and growth-oriented budget to support LIEDA’s strategic objectives and ongoing development initiatives.
Managing Director of LIEDA, Liaquat Ali Kashani, welcomed the board members and presented the draft budget. His presentation highlighted key allocations, projected revenues, and planned expenditures, focusing on operational, developmental, and administrative aspects.
Board members engaged in detailed discussions on various components of the budget, seeking clarifications on capital projects, staff salaries, and recurring expenditures. MD Kashani provided comprehensive responses, addressing concerns and elaborating on the financial strategy underpinning the proposals.
After thorough deliberation, the board unanimously approved the annual budget for the fiscal year 2025–2026. Chairman Sarparah commended MD Kashani and his team for their diligent efforts in preparing a comprehensive budget aligned with the Authority’s long-term goals.
In addition to the budgetary matters, the board also reviewed and approved several other agenda items during the meeting, reflecting a continued commitment to organizational efficiency and strategic development.
