ISLAMABAD,(UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 3rd Augst,2016) : Participants of a rally Wednesday were enthralled by the addresses of local mujahideen at Kaimoh in Kulgam district of Indian Occupied Kashmir (IOK). According to KMS, two masked mujahideen surfaced in a pro-freedom rally in Koimoh and addressed the protesters.
They were carrying weapons and one of them wore Pheran (traditional Kashmiri cloak). Addressing the people, a mujahid urged them to remain resilient and carry forward the ongoing struggle with dedication and sincerity.
"We have chosen our path and will strive till we achieve the martyrdom," he told an emotionally-charged gathering of people, some of whom jostled to kiss their palms. "We have left our comfort zones," he added. The atmosphere turned emotional when the mujahideen appealed to people not to betray them.
"If you cannot be among us, at least don't betray us," the mujahid said, thumping his chest.
This left the gathering in tears. "We hope you will carry forward our message," the two mujahideen said, leaving the venue after raising pro-Pakistan and pro-Burhan slogans. As the mujahideen left the place, they urged the gathering not to follow them, though some people jumped behind them to touch them. Earlier, a massive pro-freedom rally, which saw a participation of over 30,000 people, was held at nearby Redwani area.
Religious clerics from different sects addressed the people and vowed to carry forward the freedom struggle. People from Frisal, Yaripora, Khudwani, Rampora, Hawoora-Mishpora and other villages were seen walking on foot, riding bikes, cars, mini-buses and load carriers to be a part of the congregation at Redwani.
They were carrying Pakistani flags and shouting pro-freedom, pro-Pakistan and pro-mujahideen slogans.
