Market Committee Issues Fruit, Vegetables' Price List

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 17th Augst,2016) : Islamabad Market Committee on Wednesday issued the daily price list of fruit and vegetables. According to a spokesman of the committee, the rate list of vegetables per kilogram in Islamabad except for Jinnah Super, Super, and Kohsar Markets is as under: Potato Rs 42, onion Rs 35, tomato Rs 60, ginger Rs 85, garlic Rs 265, Garlic (China) Rs 285, Lemon Rs 165, lady finger Rs 60, green zucchini Rs 68, pumpkin Rs 52, brinjal Rs 46, peas Rs 185, farsh bean Rs 82, Tanda walaiti 78, Tanda desi Rs 80, cucumber Rs 37, capsicum Rs 68/88, green chilli Rs 48, cauliflower Rs 92/60, cabbage Rs 58, bitter gourd Rs 60, spinach Rs 36/23, Turnip Rs 60, maroo Rs 58, Yam Rs 60, carrot Rs 105, Chicken Rs 132 and egg per dozen Rs 99.
Likewise, he said that rates of fruit per kilogram of high and medium quality in Islamabad are as follows: Apple Kala Kulo Rs 175/136, Apple China Rs 210/180, Apple Newzealand Rs 275/240, Banana Pak Rs 88/55, pear China Rs 165/130, grapes sundar Rs 160/140, grapes Gola Rs 98/80, gava Rs 86/55, peach Rs 105/75, garma Rs 68/45, mango Chonsa White Rs 130/90, mango Chonsa Black Rs 75/55 and mango ratool Rs 115/80. The spokesman has asked all the people to follow this list and inform authorities at 051-4867762 in case of any compliant against shopkeepers.
