Minister Orders Disposal Of Rainwater In Sialkot City

SIALKOT, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 10th August, 2016) : Punjab Minister for Zakat and Ushar and Chairman Cabinet Committee Malik Nadeem Kamran has directed the district government to immediately start disposal of rainwater from low-lying areas and take all possible measures to cope with the flood situation, a press release said here on Wednesday.
Also, District Coordination Officer (DCO) Dr Asif Tufail on Wednesday paid visits to different parts of the city after heavy rain.
He monitored flood plan of the TMA, SWMC and other departments as nullah Bhade faced a serious flood situation. He informed the minister that the district government was working on disposal of stagnant rainwater and clearing of sewerage and drainage lines.
