Minister Pays Surprise Visit To Reproductive Health Services Centre

KARACHI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th Dec, 2016 ) : Sindh Minister for Population Welfare, Mir Mumtaz Hussain Jakhrani Tuesday paid surprise visits to Reproductive Health Services Centers at Lady Dufferin hospital and Sindh Police hospital garden.

According to a statement here, during his visit, he went around different sections and wards of hospitals and checked the attendance registers, arrangements of cleanliness and facilities provided to patients at both centers.

The Minister inquired about the health of patients and asked if they face any problems and issues regarding provision of treatment at the hospital. However, patients were satisfied with the facilities and services of both hospitals.

Medical Superintendent of Sindh Police Hospital, Dr Muhammad Ali Shah briefed about the services, facilities and medicines provided at hospital and informed the minister about the shortage of staff.

The minister assured that issues of centers would be resolved soon and added that recruitment process for new staff in Sindh Population welfare department was started and within few months, all shortage of human resource in department would be met.

On this occasion Director Population Welfare Allah Dino Ansari, Dr Farzana Bhagt, Dr Afsheen Shah, Muzzamil Solangi and others were also present. APP/ars/msk/ahn
