Minister, Station Commander Malir Inaugurates Cattle Market Karachi

KARACHI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 26th August, 2016) : Sindh Minister for Livestock and Fisheries Muhammad Ali Malkani alongwith Station Commander Headquarter Malir / President Super Highway Cattle Market Brigadier Qasim Changezi inaugurated the Asia's biggest Cattle Market situated at Super Highway Malir on Friday.

On the occasion, a large number of traders, buyers and people were present, said a statement. Besides, organizers of the market, livestock officials including District Officer Dr.

Muzaffar Vighio, Jehangir Choudhry, Col Waqas, Dr. Farhan Essa and others were also present. The Minister Livestock while addressing the ceremony said that present government is making all out efforts to restore glory of Karachi by improving law and order situation.

He also lauded the efforts of the traders who played crucial role in the development of largest city of the country.

He acknowledged the support of the Station Commander for establishing cattle market with improved facilities for the people of metropolis. Earlier, the Station Commander Brigadier Qasim Changezi welcomed the participants.

Administrator of the Cattle Market Jehangir Choudhry expressed his gratitude to the guests and people of the city who largely attended / visited the market. On the occasion, cow walk / cattle walk were also organized.

The Minister Livestock and Station Commander presented shields and souvenirs to more than 50 traders and participants. They also appreciated the Livestock Department for setting up free mobile camps to provide veterinary facilities to prevent many diseases. The Provincial Minister said that medical camps have been functionalized to ensure spray over animals coming to Sindh from other provinces specially at all entry points.
