Missing Facilities Should Be Provided In All Schools Before Opening: DCO

FAISALABAD,(UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 10th August, 2016) : District Coordination Officer (DCO) Faisalabad Salman Ghani Wednesday directed the education officials to provide all missing facilities in all government schools before their opening after the end of summer vacation. Chairing a meeting, the DCO said that the government was spending huge funds for providing best quality education even in far-flung rural areas.

Therefore, officials of the Education Department should focus on provision of all facilities in schools. He said that school buildings should be repaired and renovated with fresh paint. Broken windowpanes, doors and their handle locks should be replaced immediately besides ensuring functioning of toilets, water pumps, electricity lights, lab gadgets, etc. He also directed the education officers to ensure installation of closed-circuit television (CCTV) cameras and armed guards should be deployed at school gates.
