Murder And Rape Accused Sentenced By Court

DIR LOWER, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 15th Jul, 2025) The District Prosecution Office Dir Lower, under the headship of District Public Prosecutor (DPP) Rafiullah, achieved a major breakthrough in the rape and murder case of a woman named Ayesha, Case No. 100, dated 24-05-2023, registered under Sections 302, 376, 201, and 34 of the Pakistan Penal Code at Munda Police Station, Dir Lower.

The Additional Sessions Court in Samar Bagh delivered its verdict, sentencing the accused — Zia-ul-Haq, Sanaullah, and Abu Bakar to life imprisonment, 25 years, 3 years, and 2 years respectively, along with a fine of Rs. 500,000 in compensation.

Assistant Public Prosecutor Obaidullah presented the prosecution's arguments, playing a key role in securing justice through his dedication and legal acumen. The police investigation team also received praise for their commendable efforts, which were instrumental in ensuring justice was served.
