Mysterious Disease Kills Six Children In Shangla

ISLAMABAD,(UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 4th Augst,2016) : Six children of a family have died due to a mysterious disease during the last six months in Lelwanai area of Shangla, KPK. The ages of the deceased children ranged from 2-6 years, parents of these students, Iqbal Shah, Ghulamullah and Attaullah said their children first suffered from acute fever and then they suffered from extreme shivering, private news channel reported.
The dead body of one such affected minor girl was brought to Peshawar's Khyber Teaching Hospital where the blood samples were obtained for tests. District Health Officer Shangla Dr Shafiul Mulk said the blood samples of the affected children have been sent to Karachi for laboratory tests.
He said the real cause behind the disease will be ascertained after obtaining the test results.
