Over 21750 Cattle Heads Vaccinated In Tharparkar

MITHI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 21st Dec, 2016 ) : Sindh Livestock Department has launched a vaccination drive in different parts of District Tharparkar with the objective to prevent live stock from disease as livestock was major source of livelihood for local population.

Deputy director livestock and animal husbandry Tharparkar, Dr. Ghansham Das, in a press statement issued here on Wednesday, said that mobile teams of livestock department were engaged in free vaccination drive and over 21750 cattle head were vaccinated against different disease.

He informed that immunization teams were sent to Chhahe Chhabhro, Keelanhot, Bandho Rohal, Jagaweri, Chhachhi Thakri, Chhachhi Bheel, Chhachhi, Nathro Bheel, Sori ji Wandh, Koonbhy je Wandh, Tahu, Okraru, Okrari, Gogaveer, Panbir, Katho Saman, union council Kaloe, Phant and Bhittaro villages of the district.

He stressed upon live stock owners to cooperate with vaccination teams and immunize their cattle head to save them from disease and for enhancing output.
