
Over 7.5 Kg Drugs Seized During Crackdown

RAWALPINDI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 26th Jul, 2025) Police have arrested eight drug dealers and recovered more than 7.5 kilograms drugs from their possession during a crackdown here Saturday.
According to police spokesman, Sadiqabad Police detained two drug pushers and recovered 3.8 kg drugs from their custody.
Similarly, Bani Police held two drug suppliers and recovered 2.6 kg drugs from their possession.
While, Dhamyal Police arrested two drug dealers and recovered 1.8 kg drugs from them.
Following operation, Gujjar Khan Police detained another drug dealer and recovered 720 grams of hashish from him.
Westridge Police nabbed drug supplier and recovered 560 grams of hashish from his possession.
Police have registered separate cases against all of them and started further investigation. The arrested accused will be presented in court with solid evidence, City Police Officer Syed Khalid Hamdani appreciated the performance of police teams and stated that all available resources are being utilized to eradicate the scourge of drugs.
