FAISALABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 14th Nov, 2016 ) : Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah Khan on Monday said Pakistan had emerged as a regional economic hub after the dispatch of first export consignment of China from Gwadar Deep Seaport.
Inaugurating a sewerage project in Muzaffar Colony here, he said the government was undertaking a huge development agenda for the welfare of common man. The Punjab government had allocated maximum funds for the development projects, he added.
He termed China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) as a game changer and said the elements opposing it would be disappointed as masses fully understood the economic importance of this mega infrastructural project.
He congratulated the people of Pakistan over the functioning of Gwadar port and said the dream to make Pakistan an economic hub had been materialized.
He said credit went to Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif who had put Pakistan on the path of progress and prosperity.
He was critical of the opposition which was hatching conspiracy against the government and also trying to deprive people of the benefits of progress and prosperity. He said the Prime Minister and Chief Minister Punjab had successfully dragged out Pakistan from the economic quagmire and now the objectives of expeditious development had been achieved.
He said the CPEC would bring prosperity to this entire region including the all federating units of Pakistan.
