KARACHI, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 9th May, 2026) Sindh Senior Minister for Food, Makhdoom Mehboob Uz Zaman, on the occasion of the first anniversary of the success of “Marka-e-Haq” (Battle of Truth), congratulated the entire nation, the Armed Forces of Pakistan, martyrs and war veterans, stating that May 10, 2025, would always be remembered as a historic day when the Pakistan Armed Forces crushed the enemy’s arrogance and safeguarded the country’s sovereignty with courage and professionalism.

In his special message issued on the occasion, the Sindh food Minister paid rich tribute to President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Asim Munir for their leadership and commitment during the historic operation. He said the success of Marka-e-Haq was a shining example of Pakistan’s military strength, national unity and the patriotic spirit of its people.

The Armed Forces of Pakistan demonstrated exceptional bravery, professional excellence and strategic capability, successfully defeating the enemy’s malicious intentions and sending a clear message to the world that Pakistan’s defence and sovereignty are non-negotiable, He added. He stated that the martyrs and veterans of Marka-e-Haq are the pride of the nation and their sacrifices would forever remain alive in the hearts of the people. He said that the entire nation stands shoulder to shoulder with its brave armed forces like a fortified wall and is always ready to make every sacrifice for the defence of the motherland.
