Parliamentary Committee sends 12 names to NA Speaker for election as ECP members

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22th july, 2016) : The Parliamentary Committee on Electoral Reforms here Friday sent 12 names, received from the Prime Minister for election of members of Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), to the Speaker National Assembly.

Federal Minister for Finance, Mohammad Ishaq Dar said here that 12 names (three from each province) were received from the Prime Minister for election as members of the Election Commission. He said, the meeting of the Parliamentary Committee on Electoral Reforms would be held to review the Names on Monday morning. All the arrangements have been completed in this regard, he added.
