
Patwaris Accuses PTI Govt For Overlooking Their Promotions,

PESHAWAR,(UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 2nd Augst,2016) : The Patwaris in Khyber Pakthunkhwa Tuesday accused the PTI led government for overlooking their promotions and up-gradations since long and termed the approach by PTI high ups towards resolutions of their problems highly regrettable. The Patwaris staged a protest demonstration against the PTI government for ignoring their promotions and up-gradation since long. Holding placards and banners inscribed with different slogans, the participants marched on GT road from Firdus and gathered in front of Khyber Pakthunkhwa assembly's building.
They raised anti PTI slogans and demanded up-gradation and promotion like other professionals. They said Patwaris were working in Khyber Pakthunkhwa in grade-V, awaiting promotion and up gradation over several years.
The Patwaris' leaders said this has created sense of deprivation among thousands of Patwaris besides making negative effects on their overall performance. They said employees of several others departments were upgraded and promoted while Patwari have been deprived of promotion and up-gradation since long that was highly deplorable. The Patwaris urged PTI Chief Imran Khan and Chief Minister Khyber Pakthunkhwa to take notice of this serious indiscrimination being meted out to Patwaris in KP and address their issue on priority basis. They warned to extend their protest to entire province and stage a sit in front of Bani Gala in Islamabad if their demands were not fulfilled by the PTI government.
