PHA To Outsource Parks To Improve Facilities

MULTAN,(UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News -5th Sep,2016) -Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA) has proposed to outsource public parks of the city to private companies with the goal to improve facilities at recreational spots.

PHA sources told APP here on Monday that final decision would be made in the board of directors meeting to be held in next few days.He said that initially Jalal Masjid Park and Madni park would be out sourced and later same policy would be applied to other parks.

Source added that there are nine stops of metro bus and fountains would be set up at seven stops.

He said that three fountains were already functional--at Southern bypass,Northern bypass and Dolat Gate chowk while work on four others was ongoing.He said that design of four other fountains has been completed which would be installed at Khayam cinema,Vehari Chowk and two other stops.

He further said that Metro bus route has been divided into three zones where saplings were being planted by PHA.
