Pharmacy owner gets four years jail term

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News -25th Augst,2016) : Drug Court Chairman Chaudhry Muhammad Jehangir on Thursday awarded four years jail term and imposed a fine of Rs 80,000 to a pharmacy owner-Alam- on the charges of selling smuggled and sub-standard aphrodisiac medicines.

The court announced the verdict after hearing detailed arguments of parties and examining evidence available on record. As per details, a drug inspector had presented the challan (charge-sheet) against the pharmacy owner after it was found that he was selling smuggled and sub-standard aphrodisiacs.
