Police And Intelligence Officials Carried A Joint Operation In Okara

Okara, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 13th july, 2016) : Six alleged terrorists were shot down in a joint operation carried out by police and intelligence agencies on Wednesday. According to details, six alleged terrorists were killed when the police and intelligence agencies jointly conducted an operation in Okara's surrounding village and while two police officials were also injured due to firing by the accused terrorists.
DPO Okara Faisal Rana revealed that intelligence reports regarding the presence of terrorists in the surrounding Chak 28 2-R area were obtained by the police. Police and intelligence agencies surrounded the targeted house where the alleged terrorists were, around midnight.
The suspected terrorists opened fire ,Upon seeing the police officials, and injured two police officials. Police called for more CTD officials after the terrorists denied to lay down their weapons.
Suddenly roof top of the house imploded triggered by An explosion that occurred inside the house. The exchange of fire between the alleged terrorists and police lasted for two hours after which the suspected militants stopped firing.
After firing number of gun shots, police entered the house and recovered the bodies of six suspected militants. Hi-tech weapons were also recovered from the alleged terrorists.
