Process To Shift Afghan Refugee Camps To Alternate Places Begin

The District Mansehra Administration has started taking measures to shift the Afghan refugee camps to the alternate places to address problems of the local population.
MANSEHRA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 09th Mar, 2018 ) :The District Mansehra Administration has started taking measures to shift the Afghan refugee camps to the alternate places to address problems of the local population.
Assistant Commissioner Capt (Retd) Abdur Rahman on Friday paid a visit to Afghan refugee camps in Shaikh Abad, Bareeri and Khaki areas of the district.
Representatives of the UNHCR, Afghan Refugees, local police and revenue department accompanied the AC during the visit.
On this occasion matters relating to shifting of the refugee camps, repatriation and shifting their camps were discussed in detail. The AC with UNHCR official visited the proposed sites for setting up the refugee camps and reviewed the strategy for making the shifting plan workable. The visit was conducted on the directives of Deputy Commissioner Mansehra Muhammad Ayaz Khan.
