
PU Meeting Evaluates Research Projects

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th Oct, 2025) The Punjab University Office of Research, Innovation & Commercialization (ORIC) organised a meeting of the Committee for Evaluation of Research Projects in the Committee Room of the Pro-Vice Chancellor’s Office, here on Saturday.
The meeting discussed re-sanction cases of PU research grants and the formulation of Terms of Reference (TORs) for general research grants and technology development grants for the fiscal year 2025–2026.
Punjab University Pro-Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Khalid Mahmood, Director ORIC Engr.
Prof Dr Aqil Inam, Chairperson DPCC Prof Dr Anjum Nasim Sabri, Treasurer Tasneem Kamran, and deans of various faculties attended the meeting.
Welcoming the senior faculty members and administrative officers, Dr Aqil Inam briefed the participants about the agenda, aligning it with the vision of PU Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Muhammad Ali to promote impactful and innovation-driven research.
After detailed deliberations and constructive input from participants, the meeting concluded with a vote of thanks from the Director ORIC.
