ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 23rd Jul, 2025) Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Dr. Tariq Fazal Chaudhry Thursday said the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) was unwilling to engage in political dialogue or coexistence.
Speaking to a private news channel, he said it was now evident that the PTI leadership frequently engages in derogatory and inappropriate rhetoric.
He said that the language used by PTI leaders against political opponents, state institutions, their leadership, and media professionals reflects a pattern of intolerance and incitement.
Referring to the events of May 9, he said PTI members were involved in orchestrating unrest and attacking military installations in an attempt to destabilize the state.
He said that the ongoing court decisions in May 9 cases were based on evidence and legal merit.
“If someone is found involved in those incidents, then awarding punishment is justified,” he added.
