RPO Inaugurates Modern Driving Simulator, IT Training Initiatives In Orakzai

KOHAT, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 9th May, 2026) Regional Police Officer (RPO) Irfan Tariq visited Orakzai headquarters on Saturday to formally inaugurate a state-of-the-art driving simulator at Traffic Driving Training school. This technological upgrade aims to provide drivers with advanced, real-world training to ensure stricter adherence to traffic laws and a significant reduction in road accidents.
During the ceremony, RPO presented certificates to graduating students, praising their progress and said that such modern training is vital for fostering a safer, more organized traffic environment within community.
The visit also focused on broader digital transformation of police force, as RPO Tariq distributed certificates and cash rewards to police officers who successfully completed a specialized IT course.
He emphasized that mastering modern technology is essential for enhancing professional capabilities and remains an indispensable requirement for policing in current era. By equipping officers with these digital tools, the department aims to streamline operations and improve service delivery to public.
DPO Orakzai Shaukat Ali briefed RPO on district's ongoing professional development initiatives. RPO Tariq commended Orakzai District Police for their proactive reform measures and commitment to modernization.
He reaffirmed that police department is prioritizing allocation of all necessary resources to evolve police system and provide high-quality, efficient services to citizens of region.
