RPO Reviews Safe City Project, Directs Timely Completion

Sargodha, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 15th Jul, 2025) Regional Police Officer (RPO) Muhammad Shehzad Asif Khan on Tuesday visited the under-construction Safe City Project in Sargodha to review the ongoing development work.

According to spokesperson for Police here, the RPO was accompanied by District Police Officer (DPO) Muhammad Suhaib Ashraf.

On the occasion, SP Operations Safe City Aamir Mushtaq briefed the RPO on the project's progress and informed that the installation of CCTV cameras has been completed, work on developing software is progressing rapidly and is expected to be completed by the end of the current month.

He said that the Safe City Project aims to enhance security in Sargodha through modern surveillance systems, including face recognition technology. "The project is expected to provide a safer environment for residents and improve law enforcement capabilities", the SP added.

The RPO stressed the importance of maintaining quality construction and directed officials to complete the project at the earliest.
