Rs 12 Billion Budget Of District Govt Approved

SIALKOT, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 3rd August, 2016) : The district government approved its Rs 12 billion budget for fiscal year 2016-17, in which no new tax was levied. District Coordination Officer (DCO) Dr Asif Tufail told that Rs 11.29 billion have been allocated for the development schemes, including allocation of Rs 7.
8 billion for education sector development in the district. The DCO added that Sialkot district government has also allocated Rs 150 million for provision of medicines to the patients at all government hospitals here. He said that Rs 8 million have also been allocated for the promotion of sports in the district.
