RY Khan administration on high alert for flood preparedness

RAHIM YAR KHAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 23rd Jul, 2025) Deputy Commissioner Khurram Pervez on Wednesday emphasized the need for coordination among relevant departments to ensure timely strengthening of weak points and 24-hour monitoring of the situation. .

According to DC office, Khurram Pervez visited the protective embankments of the Indus River Manchan Dam at Chachran Sharif to review the flood situation and inspect ongoing development works.

"Advance arrangements are being made for the evacuation of populations located in the Bet River area", he said.

Livestock, PDMA, and other institutions are working together to deal with any possible emergency situation.

The administration is taking proactive measures to ensure public safety and prevent any potential damage.
