Sadiqabad: Police Shootout, 7 Robbers Were Killed
Sadiqabad, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 19th July, 2016) : 7 robbers were killed and 8 escaped in a shootout between Andharr gang and police. Robbers opened fires when police raided on the place which was identified as their hiding place near Mahi Chowk.
7 robbers were killed whereas 8 successfully escaped in shootout. According to Police sources, they are looking for the others who escaped.
Robber opened heavy fire on police. Khanu Andharr, leader of Andharr gang, was also killed in this shootout.
Police surrounded the area and searching for the other robbers. Dead bodies of robbers are being transferred to Kot Sabzal police station. Andharr gang was wanted in several caes including murder, robbery and kidnapping etc. This gang is said to be the right hand of Chhotu gang. 3 police operations have been done against Andharr gang so far.
