
SAPM Haroon Pays Tribute To Armed Forces On Marka-e-Haq’s 1st Anniversary

ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 10th May, 2026) Special Assistant to the Prime Minister (SAPM) on Industries and Production Haroon Akhtar Khan on Sunday paid tribute to the Pakistan Armed Forces and the nation on the first anniversary of Marka-e-Haq, describing the 2025 conflict as a defining moment in the country’s history.
In a message issued on the occasion, he said the nation saluted the courage, professionalism and sacrifices of the armed forces, who defended the sovereignty and honour of the country with unwavering determination.
Haroon said that under the leadership of Chief of Defence Forces and Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, the armed forces stood “like a wall of steel” during the challenging period and demonstrated unmatched resolve in thwarting all hostile designs of the adversary.
He also lauded the leadership of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Asim Munir, saying they led the nation with calmness, firmness and clarity of purpose at a critical juncture.
The SAPM said the sacrifices and valour displayed during Marka-e-Haq would be remembered for generations and had further strengthened national unity and patriotism.
He urged the nation to remain united in faith, courage and purpose, adding that no force could defeat Pakistan as long as its people stood together.
