SBBU, affiliated campuses commemorates anniversary of  Marka-e-Haq

Shaheed Benazir Bhutto University's all campuses commemorated the anniversary of “Operation Bunyan-un-Marsoos” on the directives of Vice Chancellor, Engineer Professor Dr Madad Ali Shah

NAWABSHAH, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 7th May, 2026) Shaheed Benazir Bhutto University's all campuses commemorated the anniversary of “Operation Bunyan-un-Marsoos” on the directives of Vice Chancellor, Engineer Professor Dr Madad Ali Shah.

In this connection, University’s Greenery Department launched a tree plantation campaign from 01 May to 10 May.

According to department’s in-charge, Manzoor Ali Siyal, the campaign aims to promote national spirit of “Operation Bunyan-un-Marsoos” and “Marka-e-Haq”, while encouraging environmental protection, reducing pollution, mitigating the effects of climate change, and fostering a greener environment.

Meanwhile, the Department of Arts and Design organised a painting and art competition as part of the grand celebrations of “Marka-e-Haq”. In this regard, Dean of Social Sciences, Professor Dr Tayyaba Zareef, said that such competitions provide students with an excellent platform to showcase their creativity, imagination, and artistic skills through colours and canvas.

Important themes such as unity, identity, and innovation were particularly highlighted in the artworks. Apart from other activities, as part of the vibrant celebrations aligned with the spirit of “One Nation, One Resolve – Yaum-e-Marka-e-Haq”, national song competitions were also organized.

Students enthusiastically participated in these competitions and expressed patriotism, national unity, and courage through their melodious voices. According to the programme organisers, Abdul Jabbar Brohi and Junaid Jalbani, the purpose of these competitions was to promote national awareness, unity, and patriotism among students. The participants captivated the audience with their outstanding performances and received immense appreciation.
