Shujaat For Unification Of Muslim League Factions

ISLAMABAD, Dec 6 (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 06th Dec, 2016 ) : Pakistan Muslim League (PML) chief Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain Tuesday underlined the need for unification of all factions of Muslim Leagues by shunning out all differences.

Talking to a private news channel, Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain said the unification was only possible when every one would leave personal interests and work for common cause of public welfare and national prosperity.

Answering a question, he said expressed confidence that new Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa would come up to expectations of the nation and make the country's defence more stronger. Commenting on Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari's statement to elect Asif Ali Zardari President of Pakistan again, Shujaat said it was democratic right of PPP but the way he delivered public speeches did not suit him.

"Bilawal's words are way too ahead of his age," he said. Answering a question about an alliance with Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Chaudhry Shujaat said that it was not off the cards and could be seen to later.

Replying to a question, he said that it was up to Supreme Court to decide the Panama case, expressing confidence that the decision would based on justice. Reiterating his advice for General (r) Pervez Musharraf, Shujaat said that things were quite difficult for him and it was better for him to rest.

He said that the way India had behaved with Pakistani journalists and diplomatic delegation, a foreign minister would have planned this visit much better.
