
Southern Command High Level Meeting Held

QUETTA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 10th August, 2016) : A high level meeting held at Southern Command Headquarters at Quetta Cant which reviewed different aspects of security situation and suggested measures to further tight security in the province. According to ISPR, the meeting was jointly presided over by Chief Minister Balochistan, Nawab Sanaullah Khan Zehri and Commander Southern Command, Lt-General.
Aamir Riaz also attended by Home Minister, Mir Sarfaraz Bugti, Chief Secretary, Saifullah Chattha, IG Police, Ahsan Mehboob, IG FC, Maj-General.
Sher Afgun, Chief of Staff Southern Command, Maj-General.
Syed Muhammad Adnan, General Officer Commanding, Maj-General. Azhar Naveed Hayat Khan, General Officer Commanding, Maj-General. Abid Lateef Khan and senior civil and military officials. The meeting reviewed the security situation emerged after the Quetta Civil hospital suicide blast.
"It was vowed that no stone would be left unturned to strengthen country's defence," the ISPR said, adding that more concreted steps would be taken for bringing peace and prosperity in Balochistan.
