
Tortured Body Found

KHANEWAL, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th Jul, 2025) A 50-year-old man was found dead under suspicious circumstances in a village near Khanewal, with clear signs of torture on his body, local police said.
According to details, the incident occurred in the jurisdiction of Talamba Police Station in village 123 Seven ER, where the body of the deceased, identified as Faiz, was recovered from his house. Police said the man used to live alone.
On receiving information from local residents, a team from Talamba Police Station reached the spot and shifted the body to a local hospital for post-mortem examination.
Police officials stated that initial evidence suggests visible torture marks on the victim’s body, however, the exact cause of death will be determined after the post-mortem report.
In view of the nature of the incident, police have initiated a thorough investigation from multiple angles. Search operations are underway to trace the suspects, and officials said that they are committed to bringing the facts to light as soon as possible.
