Two Dacoits Killed In Encounter

FAISALABAD, Dec 9 (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 09th Dec, 2016 ) : Police Friday claimed to have killed two dacoits in an encounter here. Police Spokesman Amir Waheed said four bandits on a motorcycle snatched Rs 30,000 and a mobile phone from Falak Sher and Alam Sher of Chak No.600-GB and escaped towards Chak No.594-GB.

On information, Kur police rushed to the spot and encircled the outlaws near Chak No 594-GB.

The police signaled them to stop but they opened firing on officials and took shelter in a nearby sugarcane crops.

The police also returned fire and during the encounter two criminals received serious bullet injuries while their two accomplices fled. The police shifted the injured dacoits to a hospital where they died whose identification is yet to be made.

The police recovered a Kalashnikov, a pump action and a motorcycle while a special team has been constituted to arrest other accused, the spokesman added. APP/aar/ia/zqr/bl/ahn
