Two Reports Of Standing Bodies Presented In Senate

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 27th july,2016) : As many as two reports of standing committees including Information Technology and Telecommunication and National Health Services, Regulations and Coordination were presented in the Senate on Wednesday. Chairman Standing Committee on Information Technology and Telecommunication Shahi Syed presented the committee report on the bill to make provisions for prevention of electronic crimes The Prevention of Electronic Crimes Bil, 2016] while Chairman Standing Committee on National Health Services Sajjad Hussain Turi presented special report of the committee for the period from February to June 2016 in the House.
Shahi Syed said that cyber crime bill was need of the hour as we are facing menace of terrorism.
� � �He said that all stakeholders including the petitioners, members of civil society were taken on board before finalizing the bill and also incorporated their feedback. He said this bill was very crucial to effectively tackle menace of terrorism. However, chairman senate observed that media persons said they had not been consulted on the bill.
