Unlicensed clinics sealed in Gujrat

GUJRAT, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th Oct, 2025) On the directions of Deputy Commissioner (DC) Noor-ul-Ain Qureshi, District Health Officer (DHO), Dr Syed Aitezaz Ahmad, along with the health department team, conducted operations under the ongoing anti-quackery campaign and sealed two illegal clinics.

According to health department spokesperson, Irfan Medical Store at Shah Bola Chowk and Imran Homeopathic Clinic in Mohalla Khalidabad were found operating without qualified doctors.

Used syringes, empty vials, and injections were recovered from the premises, which were subsequently sealed. The cases have been referred to the Punjab Healthcare Commission.Meanwhile, Deputy District Health Officer Sarai Alamgir sealed Shehzad Medical Store for violations.
