Various PML-N Candidates Win LG Slots Unopposed

HAFIZABAD, Dec 9 (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 09th Dec, 2016 ) : Mian Zahid Hussain Bhatti and Muhammad Afzal Arain of Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) were elected chairman and vice chairman of Municipal Committee Jalalpur Bhattian unopposed respectively, according to official sources.

Also, Babar Shafique Arain and Muhammad Aslam of the PML-N were elected uncontested chairman and vice-chairman, respectively of Pindi Bhattian Municipal Committee as no other candidate of rival parties filed their nomination papers with the Returning Officers.

However, Muhammad Zaman Bhoon, Haji Jamshaid Abbas Thaheem, Malik Gul Nawaz Phool Awan and Malik Ateeq-ur-Rehman Awan of PML-N filed their nomination papers to contest the slot of chairmanship of Municipal Committee Hafizabad, while Muhammad Asif Chatha, Khalid alias Khaldi Butt, Sheikh Muhammad Amjid and Malik Khudad Awan of PML-N had filed their nomination papers to contest the slot of vice-chairmanship of Municipal Committee Hafizabad.

Nasir Qayyum Bhatti and Adnan Hameed of PML-N had filed their nomination papers for chairman and vice chairman of MC Sukheke Mandi while Sajid Mehmood and Iqbal Hussain Shah of the PTI had filed their nomination papers for the slot of chairman and vice-chairman, respectively of MC Sukheke Mandi.

PML-N President Chaudhry Afzal Hussain Tarar and Rai Qamar-uz-Zaman Kharal of PLM-N had filed their nomination papers to contest the slot of chairman and vice-chairman, respectively of District Council Hafizabad, while Qaisar Abbas Chadhar and Javed Qamar Sandhu of the PTI had filed their nomination papers to contest the slot of District Council Chairman while Asmat Bibi and Muhammad Anwar of PTI had filed their nomination papers to contest the slot of vice-chairmanship of District Council Hafizabad.
