Violence in name of politics unacceptable: State Minister

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 23rd Jul, 2025) Minister of State for Culture and National Heritage Huzaifa Rehman on Wednesday said that violent actions against state institutions under the guise of political protest are unacceptable.

Talking to a private news channel, he said that both political activity and protest must operate within the legal and constitutional framework.

"Political leaders must demonstrate tolerance and provide democratic space to others," he said.

He added that increasing hostility, spreading hate, and leveling baseless allegations do not reflect a democratic approach, but rather indicate a disruptive mindset.
