
WASA Establishment In Final Stages: DCO

SARGODHA ,(UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 26th july,2016) : District Managment has decided to establish Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA) for the city to resolve sewerage, drainage problem permanently. This was disclosed by the District Coordination Officer (DCO) Danish Afzaal while chairing an introductory meeting of District Peace Committee here on Tuesday.
He said that Sargodha is a big developing city consisted of four million populations but due to the negligence of the TMA, its sewerage system is not able to drain the whole city's water. He said that any negligence would not be tolerated by any department regarding provision of facilities like sewerage, water supply, parks and recreational spots. The meeting was attended by Superintendent Police Bilal Iftikhar, Irfan Butt, various Ulemas including Abdullah Saeed Hashmi, Qari Waqar Usmani and Khalid Iqbal Musarrat.
